Configure TLS for LAN hosting and verify Client trust or the self-signed certificate fingerprint. Keep OS keyring access available on the Server. Use scoped desktop roles and permissions, authenticator-app MFA with recovery codes, and session revocation. Portal roles and credentials are separate.
The Server automatically maintains operational records in its managed internal data store. Protected backups can be portable and optionally encrypted; restore requires standalone access and invalidates sessions and provider credentials. Review and reconfigure integrations after restore. The host tools can inventory bounded legacy migration/recovery copies without exposing customer content or automatically deleting them.
Audit history has a locally verified integrity chain and can export independently retained checkpoints. A local chain is not an independently immutable ledger; protect and verify exported checkpoints separately. Content holds and exact-address erasure are reviewed workflows with eligibility limits. Retention and erasure do not remove provider-held data or previously exported backups. These controls do not constitute compliance certification.
